Criw Cymraeg

What we do?

Cwmfelin Primary School's Criw Cymraeg aim to:

  • Promote a Welsh ethos in our school.
  • Encourage pupils, staff and visitors to speak Welsh inside and outside the classroom.
  • Work towards completing the 10 Cymraeg Campus Bronze Award Targets and gathering evidence to support this.
  • Meet regularly to work on actions to achieve our Bronze Award.

Draig Dafydd a Dilys

Introducing Draig Dafydd a Dilys.
Our very talented Blwyddyn 6 Criw Cymraeg pupils Lucas and Isla designed our new ‘Masgot Ysgol’ to promote and encourage speaking Welsh in school. Dafydd is looking and listening for children who are speaking very good Welsh, accurately and often with extended sentences. Whilst Dilys is looking and listening for children who are trying hard to learn and apply Welsh when they can.
