  • Class 5 Meet Local MP Chris Elmore

    Thu 27 Oct 2022 A. Bluck

Today, Dosbarth Pump were lucky enough to have an online visit from Chris Elmore MP. Pupils have written letters to people in jobs who have to make a lot of decisions as part of our inquiry . Mr Elmore wrote back and agreed to speak to the class. He video called us from the Houses of Parliament and talked about what he does in his job, what decisions he has to make before answering questions we had prepared.

Dosbarth Pump really enjoyed meeting Chris and are looking forward to a few more visits from other professionals in the future.

We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to you all for your support with our Snoopy challenge.

  • Keith Grice 10-a-side Rugby Tournament

    Fri 14 Oct 2022 J. Desmond

Today the school rugby team took part in the annual Keith Grice 10-a-side tournament for all primary schools in Bridgend. The team played very well in their group matches and particularly impressed in defence. We had one victory against Penybont Primary and lost our other 4 group games.
The team then played Caerau Primary in a friendly match, which saw them notch up another win.
All of the after school practice with Mr Bluck has certainly paid off and the team are looking forward to playing again soon!
