Reading books will be sent home on a weekly basis. Please practise these at home regularly. You should ask questions about the story to develop comprehension skills. Please encourage them to read a variety of texts on a regular basis, even taking the opportunities to note and read texts in their environment such as road signs, leaflets, information posters, newspapers etc. Please encourage them to share their opinions about the texts they have read.
Oxford Reading Buddy is a digital reading service to help your child to develop important skills in reading and to encourage them to read more. This can be used in addition to your child's reading book.
Our P.E. day is:
Your child should wear their outdoor PE kit to school on this day. Uniform will not be required.
Earrings need to be removed for P.E. sessions and long hair should be tied back.
